Free for kids and families is the day-long Chumash Celebration, on October 9, from 9 AM -5 PM. In honor of Indigenous People’s Day, the Botanical Garden will be celebrating the Chumash people who have been stewarding the land since the beginning of time, and learn how they still use some of the plants featured in our garden, for food, medicine, and play!
