On Saturday, September 23rd the Cayucos Land Conservancy once again hosts the annual Estero Bluffs Clean-up in coordination with ECOSLO and an amazing statewide effort, California Coastal Clean-Up Day.
Meet at the fig tree parking lot (Killers surf spot, 1.4 miles north of town) at 9am, work as long as you can or want up until noon. You’ll be joining thousands of California beach-loving volunteers up and down our coast. Look for the Cayucos Land Conservancy Banner. We will be sharing Highway one with bike riders so be careful driving. Let’s make trash extinct!
Last year our dedicated crew picked up automobile parts, used oil, fishing traps, carpet, fiberglass, over one-thousand cigarette butts, and all kinds of plastic bits that would have washed into the ocean and been eaten by wildlife.
