Join the Central Coast State Parks Association for the first ever Mariposa Festival! The celebration is in recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month and the annual return of the migrating western monarch butterfly. The Mariposa Festival will take place on September 14 from 6-9 pm at the downtown San Luis Obispo Farmers Market on Broad Street. There will be a colorful array of exciting and educational booths that will represent the best of the Central Coast, highlighting Hispanic heritage and culture and the magnificent western monarch butterfly.
