The Big Red House is an icon that can be yours during your visit to Cambria, California. This large, ocean view home is welcome to all including children and pets. A major plus is that this house is also wheelchair accessible.
Location
Central to all that Cambria has to offer, the Big Red House is also just a few blocks from the ocean. You will find more than enough to keep you busy during your visit. Definitely plan to spend a day to the north in San Simeon. There you will find the world famous Hearst Castle – but plan ahead as tickets are required for the tours. While in San Simeon you will also want to see the elephant seals. These marine mammals are a sight to behold as they lounge on the beaches. Back in Cambria you won’t want to miss the East and West Villages with their unique shops. You can also take the dogs for a boardwalk stroll along Moonstone Beach.
Layout
The Big Red House can sleep up to 7 with 2 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The living room has magnificent views, a large fireplace and access to the yard. The dining table has seating for all seven guests. The kitchen has a nice garden window and a bar area with plenty of glassware. The master bedroom has walls of windows for maximizing the views. It also has sliding glass doors onto the balcony, perfect for sunsets. The second bedroom has lots of natural light. Both bedrooms have queen size beds and the second bedroom has a single bed as well. The den serves as a second living area and has a double sofa sleeper.
Amenities
This vacation rental includes WiFi and a TVs with cable in the living areas and each bedroom. In addition to the fireplace, there is also air conditioning, which is rare in Cambria (and rarely needed!). Guests love the two ocean view balconies and the jetted tub in the house.
