Old West Cinnamon Rolls

The Old West Cinnamon Rolls of Pismo Beach got their start on a slow day at the Phoenix, Arizona State Fair in October of 1973. Betty Parkhurst Clemens was trying to sell her Old West Bread Mix when she got bored and went to the Watkins Spice booth that was down the aisle from her booth.

Sales started off slowly, but eventually built up until no one wanted anything but her cinnamon rolls and there was a waiting list. The rest is history.
