Visiting The Luffa Farm- Nipomo

Visiting The Luffa Farm in quaint Nipomo was an unexpected delight! It is in a forested area away and above the coast. If you like down home hospitality, you will find it at The Luffa Farm. The farm is located on private property–the owner/farmer’s “backyard.” We were treated to a informal but very informative tour of the luffa hothouses. The family-owned business makes and sells deliciously scented, nice quality pure lotions, soaps, and essential oils, along with many different sizes, shapes, and textures of luffas. Wear comfortable shoes and use the restroom before you arrive if possible, as there is only one (spidery) portable. We are looking forward to heading back up to Pismo to stock up on new luffas next month.
