Oceano Campground Nature Center

Oceano Campground, located within Pismo State Beach, offers all kinds of attractions: hiking, swimming, surf fishing, kite surfing, horseback riding, and digging for the famous Pismo clam. Visit the Nature Center, located across from the kiosk and tour the California Native plant garden spread out around the lagoon trail. Pismo is also the only beach in California where it is permitted to drive a standard highway vehicle along the shore. During the summer months, be sure to ask our staff about our educational programing.
