Oceano Park Campground & Lagoon
Oceano Park and Campground was once a favorite hunting and fishing ground of the Chumash Indians. Due to the somewhat harsh terrain though, settlement of the area was mostly ignored until the 1900s. With the advent of the Southern Pacific Railroad in the 1890s came a real interest for the development of Oceano. The campground offers 22 sites and a private lagoon for fishing.
