I'm Not a Comedian... I'm Lenny Bruce

Critically acclaimed and emotionally charged, I’m Not A Comedian… I’m Lenny Bruce brings the legendary performer’s story to life in a powerful one-man show. Written and performed by Ronnie Marmo and directed by Tony Award winner Joe Mantegna, this theatrical experience explores the brilliance, battles, and lasting legacy of one of comedy’s most fearless voices.

With extended runs in Los Angeles, New York and Chicago, and now touring the country, the show just celebrated eight years and 468 performances, earning praise for its raw honesty and unforgettable performance.  The show draws from Lenny Bruce’s many court battles championing the freedom of speech and also includes many of Bruce’s original comedic bits as well as insights from his own writings.
