Nature Nights at the SLO Botanical Garden

The San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden presents Nature Lights, an immersive outdoor light and music experience. Visit the garden to enjoy this beloved holiday event.

The event will feature lighting exhibitions throughout eight acres of the Garden – including many new displays. Guests can enjoy live music on two stages each night.  Wine, beer, food, and our new hot cocoa bar will be available.  We’ll also be bringing back our Holiday Art Market on select dates where you can shop for gifts from local makers and artists!
More than 15,000 have experienced Nature Lights since we opened in 2022 – and we look forward to welcoming you in 2025!

Nature Nights will open to the public on select nights from November 26, 2025, through December 27, 2025, at the SLO Botanical Garden, 3450 Dairy Creek Rd., San Luis Obispo, CA 93405. 

This year Nature Lights will feature the very best in live, local music with performances from B & the Hive (duo), Gary Wooten, Joy Polloi, That’s the Key, Hakeem, Big Sierra, Toan Chau, Teddy Oldham, Kevin Sean, Keilo Smith, and more! They’ll also have seasonal holiday performances from Bellissima Handbells and The Jingle Belles. In addition, there will be 2 visits from Santa!

Ticket Prices (includes all service fees):

• ADULTS (18+) – $28
• YOUTH (6-17) – $18 
• CHILDREN: (0-5) – FREE

The opening night benefit celebration will be on Friday, November 21, from 5-8 pm. Guests will enjoy a festive evening filled with wine and botanical-inspired cocktails from Marcerro, appetizers from Carolyn’s Kitchen and LouLou the Cheese Girl, live music, and a grand reveal of this year’s lights. We’ll also have a coffee and cocoa bar and a dessert table featuring treats from some the Central Coast’s sweetest bakers!   Tickets for opening night are $100 per person and all proceeds support the Garden.
