Four New Stops on Four New Routes
Four new routes have been published on the Cycle Central Coast Routes page, and we are so excited to share them with our fellow riders! These routes are accessible during the Highway 1 closures, which makes them especially useful this month—but perhaps the best part of these routes is the food stops along each one. Refueling during a long ride is integral to your success as a cyclist, but if you’re a foodie too, you might want more than a protein bar. These four fan-favorite food options will fill you up and leave a smile on your face.
Avila Beach Route
Ocean Grill Avila Beach || California coastal cuisine tastes better when you’re eating it just steps from the beach. Ocean views, an impressive wine selection, and lunch and dinner all week long—you can’t go wrong with this slight detour from your route.
Extended Santa Rosa Creek Route
Linn’s Farm Store || Here’s where you’ll find all of Linn’s packaged comfort foods to enjoy during your visit to Cambria or to take home with you, including many of the sauces we serve at Linn’s Restaurant and Easy as Pie Cafe. Find your favorite Linn’s fruit preserves, frozen ready-to-bake pies, pancake and other baking mixes, Syrups, fruit teas, candies, snacks, and more.
Santa Rosa Creek & Cayucos – Old Creek Loop
The Bakery at Cass House || Step into the bakery kitchen of Cass House Cayucos and pick from a selection of baked goods warm off the rack. Enjoy your breakfast in our covered garden or bring your baked goods home to share with family and friends.
Montaña de Oro Route
House of JuJu by the Bay || This family-owned restaurant serves up more than just gourmet burgers and delicious potatoes by the pound—with views of the harbor and Morro Rock beyond, you’ll ride off into the sunset feeling satisfied in every way.
