The idyllic town of Cayucos is located half way between Los Angeles and San Francisco, along California’s beautiful Central Coast. The term “Cayucos” comes from the Chumash Native American word for “canoe.” Cayucos is a throw back to the original, laid-back California beach town with its relaxed vibe and Western influences. Time still moves a little slower in Cayucos.
