The Coastal Sanctuary is a welcoming guest suite in the Arroyo Grande Valley on the Central Coast of California. This private, downstairs apartment is centrally located to beaches, restaurants, hiking, and wine tasting. You’re also close enough to downtown San Luis Obispo to attend the famous Thursday night farmers market.

Location

Situated in the Arroyo Grande Valley, the Coastal Sanctuary is north of Arroyo Grande and Pismo Beach. This area has a plethora of things to do and is a great choice for outdoor enthusiasts. Head to the beach at Oceano to go fishing or watch the kite surfers. You can also rent an ATV and ride through the dunes. If you visit between November and February, the Monarch butterflies are making their annual stop on their migration. Need a fun way to spend an evening? Get dinner at a local restaurant and then laugh until you cry at the Great American Melodrama. 

Layout

The Coastal Sanctuary is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom guest house that is designed for a couple. Even though this is a one bedroom unit, the kitchen is larger than you’d expect and includes a stove, refrigerator, microwave and even a dishwasher. The living room is also very spacious with antique furniture and wood floors. The bedroom has a king size bed and a full bathroom. Off the bedroom is a very large patio with a table and chairs. 

Amenities

The host has thoughtfully considered all of the amenities at this rental. In addition to the WiFi and television, there is also a washer and dryer in the unit. Linens are included and there is heating. Air conditioning is not included but rarely needed here. Parking is readily available.
