Cayucos is a scenic and underrated beach town along the Central Coast. The Pacific beaches here are more than you can imagine when you think of fun along the California coast. Explore the historic pier, known for its excellent fishing (no license needed!), you can also take a leisurely stroll and bring the camera to capture sunsets. Cayucos State Beach is a top spot for surfers who like to catch waves near the pier pylons. There is a playground directly on the sand for the little kids to stay entertained. Cayucos is also known for its charming downtown, with Ocean Avenue as the main road through town. Plan to spend some time checking out the locally owned shops and eating in the best restaurants.

Hester’s Hideaway is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom vacation rental that can sleep as many as 8 guests. The open floor plan is designed to take advantage of the unobstructed views of the Pacific. Soak up those views from the comfortable living room with fireplace, or the kitchen and dining room. The primary bedroom has a king size bed and plenty of storage. The second bedroom has a king size bed plus two twin beds. Outdoor space includes a patio and outdoor shower. But the notable spot here is the front deck with its beachfront locale and lounge chairs for soaking up the views.
