There you will be greeted with soft sand and a kids playground. This is also a choice for surfers, and is home to a historic pier popular with fishermen. Head to the north side of town to explore the Estero Bluffs, another scenic state park. The trails here are busy on weekends and offer photographic views of the shoreline. We recommend a light coat as the wind coming off the water can be chilly.
