Shuck Shack

The Sinor-LaVallee family has expanded to Shuck Shack Natural Wine Bar, an oceanfront wine and oyster bar located at 480 Front St., Avila Beach, CA. Shuck Shack brings something new to the Central Coast: a relaxed beachfront space centered around thoughtfully sourced oysters, high-quality coastal snacks, and a curated list of natural wines from both local and international producers. With seating for roughly 50 guests, Shuck Shack offers a laid-back, oceanfront setting where kids are welcome and beach attire feels right at home, while still maintaining a strong focus on high-quality food, oysters, and thoughtfully made wine.

The wine program highlights small-production natural wines from the Central Coast – including many friends and longtime collaborators of the family – alongside select imports from producers the team admires. Guests will find a dynamic, ever-changing list with a focus on purity, farming transparency, and winemakers who work with intention. The food menu complements that ethos, with fresh oysters and refined coastal bites with a lively Spanish European influence. Everything is prepared with simplicity, quality, and local sourcing in mind. The concept is intentionally high- low: relaxed beach town energy, where you can have a fish melt like your mom made with a grower champagne and an ocean view.
