The SLO Coast Wine collective is thrilled to announce “Harvest on the Coast.” The event celebrates the latest harvest as well as past releases from the newly-formed San Luis Obispo Coast AVA.
“This has traditionally been our SLO Coast Wine’s biggest event of the year” says Kathleen Naughton, Executive Director of the group. “The winemakers are really excited that the event is back, and we’re very pleased by the enthusiasm we’re feeling from consumers from across the state.”
This year, the event will be held at Chamisal Winery in Edna Valley. The event is from 2 – 5pm. It will feature live music by Cal Poly alumni, Honey Boys, and Santa Maria style BBQ food pairings by Gold Land BBQ in San Luis Obispo. Early “Rare and Reserve” entry will be from 1 pm – 2 pm for oenophiles looking for something extra special.
