Location

Travelers looking for a welcoming place to stop on Highway 1 find Cambria to be just what they need. The scenery here is stunning with the Pacific Ocean contrasted by the tall, native Monterey Pines. Moonstone Beach is located just across the street from the inn. It features a popular boardwalk that is almost two miles long. It is both wheelchair and stroller accessible, making it an option for the whole family. Explore the beach sand in search of its namesake moonstones. These soft stones are revered for their intricate patterns. After exploring the tide pools and strolling the sand, spend a romantic evening at one of the premier local restaurants.

Rooms

The Captain’s Cove is a boutique property with just five unique guest rooms. The Captain’s Suite is the premium room choice. Featuring a full ocean view, the room also has a king size bed, fireplace, whirlpool tub and a patio. Spend your evenings with a glass of local wine while watching the sun set over the Pacific. There are four Deluxe rooms, three with king size beds and one with two queen beds. Rooms are separated by carports, providing privacy and reducing noise. Deluxe rooms have bay windows to allow the ocean breezes to come through.

All the rooms at Captain’s Cove include fireplaces, televisions, radios, coffee makers, and microwaves. Complimentary coffee, tea and hot chocolate are provided. All rooms are non smoking and parking is conveniently located.
