The Golden Sand Retreat is a split level vacation condo in Cayucos, California. This coastal town is the perfect stop on your bucket list road trip on Highway 1. Spend a week or a month, either way we think you will fall in love with this scenic spot.

Location

This quaint and welcoming town is popular with visitors but not overrun like other spots in California. There is no shortage of things to do here year-round here and the weather is never bad. Many people visit each year for the 4th of July celebration. It features a classic small town parade, sandcastle building contest, and fireworks from the historic pier in the evening. Other popular times of the year to visit include winter, when the weather is still very mild. January and February are also a great time to visit for the Season of Coastal Discovery Celebration. The area welcomes migrating whales, birds, butterflies and more migrating along the coast. 

Layout

The Golden Sand Retreat vacation rental has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms to comfortable accommodate 6 guests. The downstairs has two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and one with two twins. There is also a full bathroom and washer and dryer downstairs. The upstairs includes the kitchen and living room, plus the primary bedroom. This bedroom has a king size bed with a full, en suite bathroom. The second floor also has a balcony with peek-of-the-ocean views. A sofa sleeper in the living room can accommodate additional guests if needed.

Amenities at the Golden Sand Retreat include WiFi and cable television. There is a laundry room with washer and dryer on the first floor. This vacation rental condo also includes garage parking. The unit is kid friendly with kid’s games and other board games available.
