Dreydon House
Description
After your stay at Dreydon House, you will want to add a third B for Best to this B&B. Owners Bill and Janis will make you feel like you are family, while the layout gives you all the privacy you could want. They are thirty-three-year residents of Cambria, and Bill is a former guide at Hearst Castle. They can provide you with all of the stories and insider tips to have a fantastic vacation! The cozy cottage feel of the rooms will have you relaxed and stress-free within minutes of your arrival.
Location
After talking to Bill, making the short drive to Hearst Castle will definitely be on your itinerary. The scenic drive up the Cabrillo Highway reminds you that the journey can be as good as the destination. On your way back, stop at Moonstone Beach and take a stroll on the mile-long boardwalk. There are numerous benches for breaks and whale watching. Closer to Dreydon House, you will find the charm of the East and West Villages of Cambria. Visit the galleries full of handcrafted gifts, paintings, and other treasures from local artisans and enjoy one of the many restaurants featuring local foods.
Rooms
You will have the entire first floor of Dreydon House to yourself. Both of the charming bedrooms have a private entrance and access to the private bath. The Fireside room has a queen bed with a hybrid gel mattress, a cozy faux fireplace, and access to outdoor seating in the garden. The Forest View room has two twin beds with hybrid gel mattresses and access to the private backyard deck.
Amenities
Each morning breakfast will be served upstairs at the time you choose. One look at our reviews, and you will find that Bill’s breakfast is legendary. Tableware, glasses, and a grill are available for any meals you want to prepare during the day. The Forest View room also has a refrigerator, microwave, and coffeemaker. Both rooms have a TV and DVD player and an extensive DVD and CD collection if you cannot find anything on Netflix or YouTube. WiFi is available.
