Sycamore Mineral Springs Resort and Spa

Description

Sycamore Mineral Springs Resort offers a destination getaway for guests looking for relaxation. The hotel takes advantage of its on-site mineral springs to create unique guest experiences. Wellbeing and healthy living are central to its mission. Daily classes include yoga, tai chi, and Pilates.

The mineral water comes from over 100 acres surrounding the hotel. It is naturally heated and believed to have healing powers. Visitors can experience the water in the Oasis Waterfall Lagoon, secluded hillside hot tubs, or private in-room tubs. The resort was profiled in the Insider’s Guide to Spas for its restorative setting.

Location

The resort is located, appropriately, among the sycamore trees near Avila Beach. Its secluded location allows guests peace and quiet during their stay. There is private access to nearby hiking and the popular Bob Jones Trail. Take the green bridge over the creek to the Secret Garden for a cold drink or live music. Golf and wine tasting are both a short drive away. And Avila has several beaches to explore, each with its own personality.

Rooms

Sycamore Mineral Springs Resort has both rooms and suites. The spa guest rooms come with one king, two doubles or one queen. One bedroom suites are located throughout the property, with king or queen beds. There’s even a two-story spa suite. Plan ahead if you want to enjoy one of only two popular two-bedroom suites. Most rooms include a private hot tub with mineral spring water.

Amenities

The amenities at Sycamore Mineral Springs Resort are focused on wellbeing. There is an award winning spa for massages and facials. Public and private yoga sessions are available and space to meditate.

The on-site restaurant, Gardens of Avila, is open for dining all day and has its own chef’s garden. The fresh produce and herbs grown there are used in the farm-to-table menu. The nearby lounge has a daily happy hour, and serves brunch on Saturday and Sunday.

The resort is a popular venue for scenic weddings, corporate meetings, and wellness retreats.
