Description
The Turtle House vacation rental is an enchanted getaway near San Luis Obispo, California. This large house is a wildlife lover’s dream with visiting cottontails, wild hares, hummingbirds, quail and finches. There are also two African Sulcata tortoises, George and Tommy, that live on the property.
Location
Edna Valley is a quaint and historic township on the southern edge of San Luis Obispo. It makes for an excellent destination year-round as the climate is very mild. Its location close to cities and beaches makes it ideal as a coastal California retreat. Both Edna Valley and neighboring Arroyo Grande Valley are home to wineries pouring coastal varietals such as Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The nearby beaches are home to historic piers and one-of-a-kind offroading opportunities.
Layout
The Turtle House rental is a 3,500-square-foot house with five bedrooms and three bathrooms. The house has large common areas including a game area with a foosball table. The kitchen includes a breakfast bar that seats three, while the adjoining dining room has a table that seats eight people. Each bedroom has a king bed for guests to enjoy. The bathrooms include tubs. Perhaps the best part of the property is the outdoor space. Perfect for enjoying a sunny day and watching the wildlife, there are tables and chairs situated throughout.
Amenities
All the expected amenities are included at the Turtle House. The kitchen offers refrigerator, microwave, stove, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, cookware and other basics. There is also a laundry room with washer and dryer, iron and hangers. There is central heating, a fireplace and air conditioning in the house. For the little ones you’ll find a high chair, pack n play, and books and toys. The property includes WiFi throughout, a dedicated workspace, and cable TV. There is plenty of parking available on-site.
