Cayucos is a California coastal town located right on Highway 1. It is south of the famed Big Sur, nestled between Cambria and Morro Bay, south of Big Sur. What makes this spot so popular is that it is less crowded, with a classic beach town vibe. In the summer, Cayucos goes all out for the 4th of July. If you want to see the fireworks from the comfort of your rental, plan well in advance. The party also includes a very popular parade and sandcastle contest. Perhaps a little known secret is that winter is a great time to visit, especially in January and February. Cayucos and the surrounding area host the Season of Coastal Discovery events. Among the popular sights are animals, including birds, whales and butterflies, migrating through the area. 

Layout

The Dolphin Hideout vacation rental has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It can easily accommodate up to 8 guests and is pet friendly. Sleeping arrangements include a king size bed in two of the bedrooms, and the third bedroom has a queen size bed and two twin beds. The primary bedroom is en suite and has a large, soaking tub, glass shower, and dual vanities. The living and dining rooms take full advantage of the ocean views, with plenty of seating so you can relax and enjoy. The kitchen features vintage tile and opens up to a den/family room. There is a beachfront patio with lounge chairs, perfect for a lazy day of soaking up rays and watching for dolphins.
