Cambria Pickleball by the Sea Group

The Cambria Pickleball by the Sea Group combines an engaged player’s community with scenic seaside ambiance. With six courts open to the public, it’s easy to drop in for gameplay at the “Old Grammar School,” located at 1350 Main Street in Cambria. Courts open between 8 and 9 a.m. and remain open until dusk or 7:30 p.m. Non-members are required to pay a nominal drop-in fee and a new players clinic is open to all each Friday at 11 a.m. First time players can also schedule their own preferred time to meetup for educational opportunities by inquiring in advance.

Pickleball in Cayucos and Morro Bay

Del Mar Park

Pickleball in Morro Bay is accessible and action-packed. Players are sure to find a well-kept court sunny Del Mark Park. With four outdoor public pickleball courts to choose from, visitors can enjoy exciting gameplay daily from 9 a.m. to dusk, even during holidays. Located at 3044 Ironwood Avenue, courts are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Plus, newcomers can utilize onsite loaner equipment Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.

Pickleball in Los Osos

Los Osos Community Park is a casual place to enjoy a pickleball match in a laid-back, coastal setting. Find large groups of locals playing on Monday and Friday afternoons, although visitors should check community resources beforehand. All players of all skill levels are welcome to check out this newly-opened community court.

Palisades Park

Palisades Park in Avila Beach features four coveted pickleball courts overlooking the breathtaking Pacific Ocean. These newly resurfaced courts are pristine, providing new and returning players top notch gameplay. Located at 160 Hermosa Drive in Shell Beach, this unique coastal park promises an ocean view for players of all skill levels.

French Park

French Park offers up an excellent SLO pickleball experience. Visitors can enjoy morning gameplay followed by afternoon Edna Valley wine tasting. Three courts are available and open to the public seven days a week. Players should note that courts cannot be reserved and are utilized on a first come, frist served basis. Additionally, newcomers should note that if teams are waiting, matches should be limited to 11 points or a maximum of 30 minutes. Located in San Luis Obispo near dozens of top notch wine tasting rooms, there’s always more to explore near French Park.

Soto Sports Complex

Pickleball is a popular pastime in Arroyo Grande, where old fashioned charm meets modern convenience. Find four pickleball courts at Soto sports Complex,  located at 1221 Ash Street in Arroyo Grande (next to Elm Street Park). Visitors should note that Elm Street Park is also home to an off-leash dog park ready to accommodate four-legged friends.

Nipomo Community Park welcomes pickleball enthusiasts of all ages looking to hone their skills. With four courts dedicated to pickleball play, visitors will also find two basketball courts, a skate park and an off-leash dog park onsite. Located at 904 W. Tefft Street in Nipomo, this versatile park is a great choice for pickleball players looking to enjoy multiple activities all in one location.
