Traveling to Spooner’s Cove, located within Montaña de Oro State Park, you’ll take in views of rugged cliffs, sandy beaches and miles of untouched oceanfront. You can sit on the rocks and listen to the sound of the waves, or trek down to the sand and explore the coastline for unique rocks and old bits of sea glass.
Dogs are welcome at Spooner’s Cove, provided they are on leash.
Across from the beach you may spot an old ranch house. This is a remnant of a dairy farm run by the Pecho family in the late 1800s.
